I find movies and comics are doorways to fantasy or simply escapism from reality.

that's the reason why i like to chill out at the cinemas and reading comics.

Story plots of schoolife are stuff that i am usually interested in becos in reality the type of lifestyle i wanna live in seldom becomes real.

you can somehow or rather feel safe in a movie/comic/drama because you know that story events are predictable.

cos in reality events are unpredictable, the moment you know u might scrw up and ended up in a bad situation. that's why stories/comics are fairy tales that makes a person feel good.

afterall, even if someone is killed or someone gets rejected by a gal, it's just fictional.

Etc of a show i like : GTO, cos it's somehow diff from real life. Everyone yearns for an extraordinary teacher to come n teach the class, breaking the normal bored routine of going to school. That whats makes life interesting.

Somenow or rather in reality 20yrs down the road, one will begin to ponder the true meaning of life. Is it meant to be studying yr 1st 25yrs then get a job, settle down and get married then work as hard as you can to provide schooling for your next generation then save enough for retirement?

Is this how we are gonna spend our life? perhaps in fantasy, we could somehow strayed beyond the normal path and embarked on a new journey which ould yield different tremendous results.

when i read that i felt that i was the character, from a poor humble background then work myself up to be someone extraordinary.

Naruto - Ninja wannabes with different type of skills. Very different in reality cos the skills or techniques shown in the anime does not exist just like some supernatural power that u can kill pple with.
cos we can't have it in reality that's why we fantasize.

Ok what's my point of this entry?

Actually just kinda feel guilty or somehow regretful that i have been living my life under a mask for so long. Don't dare to do things out of the norm becos somehow i feel insecure in venturing into the unknown. so my feepest wish is to somehow or rather change my opinion towards myself. Guess i wanna start anew in my university days. Instead of emphasizing on things that we must do, we shld try to do things we couldn't do. so that we wun feel unhappy or remorseful when we turned back 20yrs later.

well human beings r like that, they dun preach what they speak and certainly when i typed this entry i began t question about my discipline, will i be able to fufil what i wanna be next time? or perhaps situations could force me to stay within my comfort zone to avoid being at a disadvantage. this i duno.

that's why i wanna be happy.

one of my regrets in life is to forget to take down someone's email address. feeling of euphoria somehow prevents me to think properly =P

another of my regrets in life is to avoid finding out the feelings of her towards me. becos of pride and feeling of dejection.

another of my regrets in life is not being able to accompany my grandma when she passed away. she was critically ill when i was sec3, i din manage to confront the situation and thus live life as normal as before. Stoic or what, my way of escaping from reality is just to adopt a bo chup attitude. is not that i am unfeeling is just that i concealed my heart within a wooden door when bad things happen. It's automatic. cant really change it unless i want to.

hmm thos flying around. flying off to australia on 19 oct 2300hrs. 2 weeks of point blank. suddenly i dun feel like leaving sg. Trying to escape reality now - by sleeping. =p.

Movie - 40 yr old virgin. Very crude. Guys would enjoy it. A lot of awkward scenes that left women froze in their seats, uncomfortable sounds that adds a teeny bit of discomfort, foul languages practically in every sentence, racist jokes being cracked every now and then & belittle the female sex compared to just a sex tool. Guys' inner darkest secret - to bed every women as possible and to actually copulate.

VCDS - finally watched A date with a vampire 3. Now could really understand what has happened and the whole story plot. Wanna rent the part 1 n 2 to watch again. Yao chi sheng mu, jiang chen, di wang fu xi, di zhang wang, kuang tianyou, ma xiaoling, nu wa, zai jie, ming yun etc all play a part in everything that happens. bizzare, wierd. But somehows every tiny bit of details add up to the whole story plot. Congratulate to the people behind the story. Impressed by their creativity and wondered how they could actually thought of some plot so complex without confusing themselves. Highly recommend.

Recollecting the past, found out that actually my mum my close group of friends yet she couldn't really piece who is who. That's why sometimes i must tell her so so is who by giving some description of them to my mum. In fact she actually remembers my fren with this unique set of decriptions which are actually quite detailed.

Sad to say my mum only knows like 8 friends of mine cos only these 8 friends usually comes to my house n ton.

here are some of the descriptions

kelvin - the pang pang de who is going to australia to study medicine
jianwei - the only child who lives at shunfu road

ivan - the one lives in toa payoh and does housework

Actually among all the friends, my grandma and mum is full of praise for ivan cos they say he's a sensible person and helps to do the housework. keke obviously they hope i will be like him lah. So u can infer that i dun do housework and well not very responsible for the stuff i do. Cos normally i anyhow throw my clothes around, leave the door open, never switch off the lights and fan etc etc... keke shall try to change but very ironic is that when i am in camp, my stuff are all neat and tidy, and everything is seldom misplaced...

Finally at home after a torturous week in camp.

I booked in on sunday night with 4 bags. One black duffler bag with wheels, one red colour puma bag, a black sling bag plus a handheld plastic carrier bag loaded with stuff.

with much difficulty, managed to arrived in my bunk. Unload everything, started to do some last min packing. send in duffler bag at 1100hrs on wednesday.

Basically spnt quite a lot last week, well due to the mentality that we are flying off to australia and well.

Watched goal and the european gigglo in a go at jurong point. Totally enjoyed ourselves plus supper and cab back to camp.

Total conversion of non dota players in my bunk. Now the 8 of us are drawn towards the bright side of dotaing as liangwei puts it. Darn funny.

Supper everynight. Indulge plus sleeping around the wee hours of the night, awoken only by the grumbling noise of our stomach for lunch.

Monday guard duty was horrendous, going w/o sleep for 24hrs. Hated that lack of sleep. din really managed to recover till wednesday.

Thursday 0700 reported for lifeguard duty. ended at 0000hrs. Totally fired. Microwaved. We thought we were downright smart for stopping the lifeguard boat under the trees. But the sunlight still managed to get me burned. Danger alert, it was like slowly microwaving a roasted pig without knowing. by the time i realised i had stood in the sun for like 3 to 4 hours, i was totally red. Erm not as red as andy. He was a scorching lobster, with a nicely outline. Ha he looks drunk.

0000hrs reached back bunk with supper from macdonalds and some fried carrot cake from choachukang. guixiong is the most recent converted dota player.

Well just got to know a new friend today. His name is sam from cjc. Well talked lots of things with him. Well we were darn bored. We couldn;t have survived without those talking. We touched on subjects from dota, to army life, overseas exercise, the gals from different countries, jc gals and their openess and getting laid. Interesting, he seems to have many stories of gals getting laid and boys shagging various gals in cj. Hmm, different school maybe or perhaps hwachongians tend to be a bit low profile compared to cj. No offense though. keke realised that he was a fellow xcountry-er. 2nd to best pt in delta coy, com best pt in charlie coy, and well 35sce 2nd or fastest. he havn't compete with paul tan though. Nice guy, standing at 1.74m, darn i din realised that he was taller than me, cos all the time we were sitting down in the lifeboat talking. Funny guy, english speaking, softspoken. Well... enuff said. haha seems like i am like totally over him, Erm clarification, He seems to be a new category of frens i just got to know. Seems my pool of frens dun have his personality. ha

anyway. Friday was over quite fast. Sleep till lunch then brunch at 42 canteens. Sumptous meal. Booked out at 4 then cabbed back to home. Gonna have some driving lessons within this weekends and well gonna pack my civi bag for australia.

Saturday birthday bash at ben's house was awesome.

Dinner was great with all the meat and stuff.

21 birthday. A golden key. Adulthood.

21 means that u r officially an adult. Hmm can do lots of things what a 20 yr old cant do.

Sunday, one whole day to pack my duffler bag with all the stuff.

Afternoon spend time shopping for wet tissues shampoo and last min missed out items.

Tuesday...

apparently for no reason, i was tearing in my eyes.

was it due to fatigue? or was it due to my dry eyes? I don't know.

1805pm. Remembered the time when i teared.

felt a sense of loss and tinge of sadness at that time.

kept wondering did someone dear to me met with any mishap or what?

sms back to see if anything went wrong.

Luckily my bro said everything was alright.

2nd time i teared was when i watched wait till you're old.

quite touching. Rather short though or maybe it was due to me being engrossed in the film.

The ending should be modified. But certainly i would prefer a happy ending instead.

Recent updates in my life.

This weekend have driving, then going to beach road to buy some stuff, after that heading to town for some lan gaming then seafood dinner at ben's house.

Sunday shall packed my duffer bag and perhaps soaked my uniform in the solution issued to me from the SAF.

Monday guard duty plus kit bag inspection.

thursday life guard duty.

Next Wednesday flying off at 2300hrs flight number SQ 8933.

Coming back on 3rd Nov 1445hrs SQ 8934.

It's probably the warmer side of Australia as compared to the state of Victoria. Places like Melbourne are well known for having 'four seasons in a day', meaning, drastic weather changes in a short span of time.

Think 'Queensland' and you automatically get Gold Coast ringing in everyones head. Located 75km South of Brisbane, the Gold Coast is a tourist haven. Filled with plenty of S's, Surf, Sun, Sea and Shopping, no wonder the Gold Coast is a place most tourist will head to when traveling there. Being 'theme park' capital of Australia, Gold Coast has four theme parks filled with fantasy rides and thrilling stunts. From Sea World to Warner Brothers Movieworld, Gold Coast makes everyones little fantasy come true.

I wonder do i ever get to go such tourist attractions?

Rumour : the grp i am following are doing their reservist so their R & R are free and easy which means we don't have a guided tour and we can go to what ever places we like? grinz. Hope the rumour is true. more things to shop along the way!

Can't really get much information. Shall contact weiping to ask him more about this trip.

Next friday is my admin briefing. Which comes the most important part. On where to meet, how to pack what and stuff.

Going to beach road tomorrow. i guess i have to really buy camo scarf...

Friends been telling me that my uniform is definitly gonna be covered in sand from head to toe.

Anyway a brighter note. at least we can see shooting stars across the sky everynow and then in the vast skies of the desert.

Not bringing digital cam cos the sand particls will scratch my lens. shall bring a disposable one.

Gonna apply for an overseas calling card if not get my mother's sim card for auto roam.

Doubt i will check my mail and surf the net.
