ARR 2005. The Team of stars! Posted by Hello

~ 2:15 PM ~
hey hey . Yesterday arr competition was haizz ok lor..

although we improved from last year but it was a disappointment. We almost could have gotten 4th instead of 7th placing.

Becos at the last min, one of our reserve runner did a 6min 23s, then was like 1min and 23mins slower than our average runner...

Haiz...

Anyway i managed to catch up 200m with the 6th runner and eventually losing to the 6th team by merely a few inches.

Nice experience. Got my day off.

Keke...

Flying off to ROC liao...

Prayed that everything will be smoothly cos i know that i must embrace ROC with a cheerful anticipating mentality so that time will pass by quick....

And i hate to wear formal clothings just to go to the airport. Very mafun leh...

arghhhhh

Cos you see ROC is just like a few days later.

And I am not mentally, physically prepared.

I need to get some stuff too...

Like my toothbrush, toothpaste, facial wash, body foam and my shampoo.

Gonna pack my luggage real soon.

Think i will do it in the afternoon.

Oh yah gtg n cut hair too.

So many things to do, yet i don't feel like stepping out of the house.

Cos maybe it's the tomorrow's competition that is affecting me.

I have a cough, don't know tomorrow will i be able to run my best.

I hope that we will win at least one medal.

and my team's fate lies in my hand becos i am the last man. the anchorer.

Haiz.. wish me luck.

shall blog on our victory or defeat tomorrow.

Cool huh. Was sunburnt and was bitten by tons of mosquitoes.

Such a lousy experience.

Very tired...

Listening to Yu heng's Yi ran shi peng you.

Memories kept flowing back.

The past? Or the present?

It reminds me of that some regrets that i experience in life.

These regrets are there to remind you that some things in life u won't forget and will always remember some ones dearly.

An example from andy lau who was nominated upteen times for the best actor award only to lose out to his pal cum actor tony leung.

When interviewed, he told the press that heaven is fair, he needs to leave some regrets for him so that his life isn't too successful.

What a way to put it. Self denial? or just plain ecapism? some say it might be optimism? Anyway he finally did won a best actor recently.

Anyway. the song is nice and well advise people to go n download it. And people who have similiar encounters like me will appreciate the lyrics.

Oh yah btw, did i told u that my friends commented that i look like tony leung?

*luffs

i dun like the feeling of being rejected

Just finished watching this japanese drama that is about baseball.

How they start the baseball club from scratch from year 1 to year 3 and eventually winning the national baseball championships in japan. Which is called the Jia Zi Yuan.

Anyway. It was really a very touching show which shows the regrets they have when they failed to qualify for the 1st year and eventually bidding a tearful goodbye to their year 3 seniors.

There's another touching scene when 2 guys have to confront each other at the finals of the final stage - Jia Zi Yuan. A pitcher and a batler. One who pitches god damn fast and a batler who never missed.

It's all about beliefs and friendship.

I liked the last part where finally the team won and the year 3s have to graduate and the juniors present them with bouquet of flowers and stuff, eventually ending the show with the picture of the baseball team who at least ONCE won the baseball championships.

This is call qing chun.

It kinda makes me ponder how i spend my qing chun. Well many other people spend their qing chun pursuing different things.

Some prefer to shagged it out on the basketball court, some on the soccer field, some on the hockey ground, some on skirt chasing, some on studying etc.

Well for me, i spend my time - running. Training for xcountry sure have some regrets and achievements.

My regrets in my secondary life is that i neglect my studies and well missed out on chances on dating girls becos well i was too busy running. training is like daily, which i hardly squeezed enough time to let's say go into a relationship. Can't even have the time to study how to chase girls.

However, i cherished the team spirit which our team shared. The bonding we have together as a team before we eventually succeeded in winning the trophy. The hard work and sweat we put in.

Still remembering the times that we shared when we trained till the wee hours where like everywhere is pitch black. Can't forget the time where it's like 8 to 9pm and well we were still in school, lying on the track, just gazing at the sky, feeling the cold breeze blowing around us.

Sense of satisfaction i can say.

Nowadays gone are the days where pure innocence are at work. We are troubled with victory over enjoyment in the process. Last time, i took up running becos i like to run. like to experience the joy of running long distances without feeling tired compared to the other team members. I like the feeling of running faster n faster overtaking other competitors. My mind was just on overtaking people, where victory to me is just secondary, just pure innocence on chasing others.

Nowadays, we can't really do things we like before considering the benefits and disadvantages. Well glad that i spent my qing chun with my teammates which i think i wun experienced it again.

Sad to say. Welcome to adulthood.

aiyah....

came back from genting and kl not long ago.

experiencing the after effects of binging on heaty stuff and the endless shouting on the roller coaster rides that we took.

Learned something. I learned how to play the bumper cars under the coaching of tze wee. Now i know why tze wee loves to play bumper cars.

Down with a fever/flu/cough/headache due to the stupid weather yesterday. I was like topoing in lower mandai the whole day. walking endlessly in the forest looking for my checkpoints. Hey it was not fun as i ended up shagged and eventually sick.

Next friday my competition leh... Must be back in shape cos i am the star runner. I must captained my team to A medal. Regardless of 1st 2nd or 3rd. I can confidently say that we definitely stand a chance of winning. It's all about belief.

Kuala Lumpur was fun. Although the moment we touched down, we had to look for hotels to stay in. Ha. Grand park royal really sux. It amazed me to see weepoh turning into a blackfaced SERIOUS. I repeat SERIOUS expression when he scolded the person who attended to us.

Went on a hotel finding frenzy and eventually found one hotel call allson hotel which provide like better services? I bet we had scout for more than 10 hotels.

Chinatown was cool as i managed to buy what i intended to buy. LIke 2 broadshorts, 1 nike tee and a pair of sneakers. Hey i missed out on buying piraterd DVDS. But nevermind. Not very gian about it.

Next stop was genting highlands. Very crowded. Weather was not that cold lah. Anyway din wore my contacts lah. cos very lazy. Hmzz. the themepark roller coasters were not that challenging mah... But my gang of friends all very scared, don't dare to play the roller coasters.

But luckily, ronnie and i tried the superman thingie. 1st in asia. But not very shuang. cos the drop was only like .5s. Not thriling. But i got my photo taken. Still havn't figure out how to post pictures yet. But again too lazy.

Hmzz genting stuff was expensive lah. next time dun wanna go there liao. i think i will want to go to thailand. there things cheaper hor ?

Anyway the whole trip was fun lah. But abit rush and hectic. Next time go sign up with tour agency better. Oh yah i bought 2 j dramas shall bia the vcds till i recovered!
