Woahooooo

This is something i wanna blog a long time ago. But then just thot it was just coincidental.

However i realised that i have a few ming xing lian peng you that i know throughout the years.

Zhijing my track senior looks like zhang hui mei

Meishi my junior looks like sheryl yang

Joaling my friend looks like liang yong qi

Keke. Still trying to recall who looks like any movie stars... =P

~ 7:11 PM ~
Jan 7 is the day where most of my juniors and cousin are enlisting. Hmzz. well time really flies huh. Still can remember that last yr i was also having mixed feelings into entering the army. However, this year the enlistment is a bit early, about one week earlier than last year. Nevertheless, army is such a horrible term at the start for a recruit. As we progress further into our nsf life. We actually discover that the higher the rank u obtained. The more relax the life you lead. This is true for only some cases. Some exceptional cases are like those who downgrade to get a pes c and have a 8 to 5 job, or being a personal assistant to the bigh boss of the company. Their jobs are much more relaxing, but in monetary terms, they still lose out to the 3rd sgts. Ocs is the high flier path to success. As an oct, u get paid 710 per month and upon comissioning, u get an additional 300 bucks. If you sign on, the door to an iron bowl is guaranteed. Well, those who are aiming for ocs, better be garang, and wayang as much as you can. well leadership is hidden among oneself and army brings out the bad and good of one another. you can really trully witness who are the ones who will share the hardships and troubles with you, and those who are downright selfish, who only plots for your downfall. It's not surprising, that everyone enlisted in the army as a recruit aims to get into ocs, hence during the 1st 3 months of ns, is like kinda playing survival. The one which gains the most ppopularity will obviously be rewarded with the key to the door of safti Military insitute. Oh yah, one more thing to add is that jan 7 afternoon will be the batch for ninja coy, my frenz 3rd sgt zhijian is one of the sgts anticipating these recruits. He's a nice guy, whoever has suzie as his section commander will really benefit a lot. Oh, yah one more advice. be sure to get along with yr commanders cos they will have lots of meetings towards the end of the course to decide who will go to sispec, and who will go to ocs. Good luck.

From the Book Jacket:

Audrey Niffenegger innovative debut, The Time Traveler Wife, is the story of Clare, a beautiful art student, and Henry, an adventuresome librarian, who have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was thirty-six, and were married when Clare was twenty-three and Henry thirty-one. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity in his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.
The Time Traveler Wife depicts the effects of time travel on Henry and Clare marriage and their passionate love for each other as the story unfolds from both points of view. Clare and Henry attempt to live normal lives, pursuing familiar goals steady jobs, good friends, children of their own. All of this is threatened by something they can neither prevent nor control, making their story intensely moving and entirely unforgettable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Media Reviews:
Publishers Weekly
Henry's foreordained end is agonizing, but Niffenegger has another card up her sleeve, and plays it with poignant grace. It is a fair tribute to her skill and sensibility to say that the book leaves a reader with an impression of life's riches and strangeness rather than of easy thrills.?BR>
Library Journal - David A Beron
The lengthy but exciting narrative concludes tragically with Henry's foretold death during one of his time travels but happily shows the timelessness of genuine love. The whole is skillfully written with a blend of distinct characters and heartfelt emotions that hopscotch through time, begging interpretation on many levels. Public libraries should plan on purchasing multiple copies of this highly recommended book.

Kirkus Reviews
Mainstreamed time-travel romance, cleverly executed and tastefully furnished if occasionally overwrought: a first from fine newcomer Niffenegger....A Love Story for educated, upper-middle-class tastes.

Geoffrey Jennings, Rainy Day Books, KS
A funny, often poignant tale of boy meets girl with a twist: what if one of them couldnt stop slipping in and out of time? Highly original and imaginative, this debut novel raises questions about life, love, and the effects of time on relationships. What is normal? For Claire and Henry, itįŽ‚ one day at a time-not necessarily in the same order.

Betsy Burton, The King's English, Salt Lake City, Utah
Henry skips in and out of time, meeting Clare as a child, as a teenager, as an adult whom he loves and marries. But his ability to slip the boundaries of time, his inability to prevent such slippage, causes marital problems (to put it mildly) in a tale so improbably, yet plausibly, told that this reader followed panting at Henry's heels as he morphed from boy to man, decade to decade; as Clare watched him disappear, re-appear. Clare, wife, lover and artist, is the true fulcrum of this complex and endlessly surprising tale, reminiscent of Time and Again, yet unique - and quite wonderful.

Anne Ursu, The Disapparation of James and Spilling Clarence
Audrey Niffenegger imagines this story of an accidental time-traveler and the love of his life with grace and humanity. Fiercely inventive, slyly ambitious, and lovingly told, The Time Traveler's Wife sparkles as it fearlessly explores the delicate interplay of love and time. This novel is a joy.?/p>

Alex Pippard, BookPeople, Austin TX
I finished the second half of The Time Traveler's Wife alone in a long-since gone cold bathtub crying to myself even as I smiled. The pruney toes and red eyes were worth it-Niffenegger has done that miracle of good writing-opened a rift we all fall into, naked and scared, into a real world.

Susan Wasson, Bookworks, NM
Wow, oh wow! Every superlative I can think of applies to this wonderful novel. The plot is unique and fascinating, the writing is superb, and it's a big book to just get so totally LOST IN! Kudos and thanks to MacAdam/Cage for finding this one and publishing it!?What a treat!"

Charles Dickinson, author of A Shortcut in Time
The Time Traveler's Wife is an odd and enchanting love story. Most of us meet the person we love when we are adults, when the children we were are long gone. Henry and Clare - through the decidedly mixed blessing of Henry's Chrono-Displacement Disorder - have it both ways. It is a story of intense devotion filtered through time - of two people who share the best and worst of growing up as soul mates in a world that can change in an instant.

*i wanna buy life of pi and lord of the flies to read.... But no $$$ =<

There are lots of films i had missed out and watched which i think is quite sweet.

National treasure and after the sunset. Lot's of action and mystery to let you glue to the sit.

The Family Man and 13 going on 30 is about a 2nd chance to do things that you can't.

Serendipity is about the belief that one man and on woman will eventually be together if they had the affinity for each other.

Never Been Kissed and 50 1st date - Both are quite sweet. Like the story plot.

Sweet november where it's about a guy who don't believes in falling in love.

There's identity which is full of suspense and in the end had an unexpected twist towards the ending.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is about cherishing the person in your lifetime where memories are always somewhat important.

6th sense is somewhat spooky but it's a classic of it's own.

Meet joe black is about a man trying to do something when he know that he is going to die.

Brotherhood is about the strong family ties between both brothers. The duty of an elder brother and the consequences of a war that makes people realise how impt is peace.

Peter pan is about a boy never wanting to grow up. Just like teenagers in the transition state of adulthood - where one is at a crossroad on growing up.

The village - About the evil in society that led to self denial.

Well I think i have to go n rent sweet november or the family man tomorrow

It's time to forget about the past and move on to the future. Setting myself a new set of goals for me to achieve in a few years time.

I must forget the the regrets i have in my past encounters with 1,2,3,4 so as to be able to cherish someone whom i will meet eventually.

I must forget the true hard fact about my a level results so as to strive hard for my further studies and obtain better results.

I must forget that i am no longer a baby in my own bedroom so as to prepare myself to meet the challenges ahead for me in the cold, harsh and competitve society.

I must forget the unhappy moments, the irritations i have experienced so as to seek a more peaceful, undisturbing lifestyle

However, there are some things that i cannot forget.

I must remember the happy times i shared with 1,2,3,4. That certainly gives me confidence in a new relationship.

I must remember the lesson learned about complacency and laziness so as to be more focus and hardworking to acieve better grades.

I must remember that my friends beside me will give me consolation, confidence, support to help me deal with the process of growing up, stepping into the society.

I must remember that the unhappy moments and irritation i had, so to remind myself to cultivate a good temper and seek an unrestraint lifestyle spiritually

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Memory loss.

Had a very vivid dream last night. Still can remember every detail of what had happen. Dreamt that a gal was committing suicide by swallowing sleeping pills... Hmzz she was like heartbroken or just despondent with life. Saw her mouth spilling out white foam. Tried to call 995, but everytime it was engaged. Recalled that there was another no. to get the ambulance but it was also engaged. Dial lots of time but there were just no1 to help me. Hmzz, at the point of time, The feeling was like losing someone dearest to me. However time passed by very quickly and in about like a hr and 13 mins, i managed to dial thru the no 995. Medical personnel immediately rushed to the location n then managed to send her to the hospital... Hmzz, tok to the medic about something regarding about the period of time when she took the pills to the period of time when the medic came. It seems that the medic told me that the max time for the victim to survive this ordeal is to rush her to the hospital in 45mins. But in this situation, it has exceeded 45mins, it was like 1 hr and 13mins... Hmzz i was feeling damn sad cos i knew she was going to die. But then, miracle happen and the operation was successful and she lived. Then i just woke up. feeling sad then happy. was just feeling damn wierd cos normally i forget my dream, but i still managed to experience the emotions occur and remembered this dream clearly. Of course i remember who this gal was. =p
